Thanksgiving Traditions: Jesse James Decker, Alison Sweeney, and more share how they celebrate the holiday

Speaking with Fox News Digital, the stars shared their favorite Thanksgiving traditions and what they’re thankful for this holiday season.

“I’m grateful for the health,” said Gary LeVox of Rascal Flatts. “I’m grateful for my family. I’m grateful that the pandemic is over. I’m grateful to be working. Oh my God, just to have… air in my lungs, you know, that in itself is a blessing because, I mean, I’m just, you know, we’ve lost so many people.” During COVID. Anna Fares is thankful all her children are happy. Faris shares son Jack with ex-husband Chris Pratt, and is stepmother to her husband, Michael Barrett.

“I’m so grateful that all three kids, I have two step-sons and one 10-year-old son, are really happy now, because when they’re not happy, it’s tough,” Faris said. Faris’ star in The Estate, Australian actress Toni Collette said she was grateful for “the opportunities and adventures that come my way.”

Christian Music Singer Matthew West He is looking forward to the festive season as it gives him the chance to spend some much needed quality time with his family.

“My favorite holiday tradition is just staying home. We travel so much throughout the year that it’s nice to get some time out, sit in some sweatpants, watch good movies, and eat good food,” she said.

Jason Momoa says his favorite holiday tradition centers around his kids and spending time watching great movies like “Home Alone.”

while, Jesse James Decker She is already anticipating the next big holiday, stating that her “favorite holiday tradition is… putting up the Christmas tree with the kids, drinking cider and listening to Christmas music.”

For Joe Jonas, the whole point of the Thanksgiving holiday is “to be with family” and, of course, food.

“Growing up, she’d watch football and hang out with friends and family…just being together, that’s what matters,” Jonas said, adding that when it comes to food, he puts “as much gravy in everything as possible.”

“I think the tradition…is that I still separate the different items of food on my plate. My dad, he always had to separate, and I think it carried on.”

for Allison Sweeney, Thanksgiving is about taking inventory of everything in her life that she’s thankful for, saying she’s “thankful for so many things”. She explained that she is very grateful to her children and “for their health” and “for this wonderful life” that she is leading.

“As a parent, I love celebrating Thanksgiving because it’s a chance to pause, be thankful, share that experience with your kids, and help them know how grateful they are,” said Sweeney. “I’ve started something with my kids where every night I have them write down three things they’re grateful for, and it can be small things like, ‘I didn’t have to take out the trash today’ or ‘I am grateful for my dog’ — just to take a minute to think about what you’re grateful for.” him that day and make it a lifelong habit.”

Sweeney has also admitted that Thanksgiving is her favorite holiday of the year, mostly because Thanksgiving is her “favorite meal of the year” and something she prepares for each year.

“I think about it a lot throughout the year, really aim for it, and prepare myself physically and mentally for the day.” What time will I eat? What will I eat first? What is this dish? that ensues? Sweeney said. “I love everything. I love the smell of the kitchen, and I start making sides and stuff like three days in advance, and I love it. I love every part of it. And I don’t even mind cleaning up afterwards. I love it all.”
