Taylor Swift played Lehigh Acres in Florida in Concert for Free in 2007

Taylor Swift has crashed Ticket Master Last week when millions of fans tried to buy tickets for her new upcoming tour. Some paid thousands of dollars for concert seats – while many others were left tearful and empty-handed.

But way back in 2007? Swift was just a rising country singer when she played the annual Lehigh Spring Festival in southwest Florida. Tickets for the March 17th show were sure to be Free.

Festival entertainment director Debbie Jackson — who helped book the future pop star — watched the concert while working her hot dog stand for the nine-day festival in Lehigh Acres Veterans Park.

“It was awesome!” Jackson remembers. “She sang every song that was on her debut album. And they ended up being huge hits.”

News Press Photographer Amanda Enscore She took pictures of the party and quickly became a fan of her.
