“sister wives” Star Robyn Brown made an emotional statement about the other women in her multiple marriages during “Sister Wives: One on One” Sunday night.
Robyn has been at the center of Merry, Janelle, and Christine’s frustrations for years now, as they feel like a pair Cody Brown He prioritized his relationship with her – his new wife – over his relationship with the rest of them. Tensions came to a head when Kristen announced that she was leaving Cody, who blew up at her during the show’s final season, accusing her of never trying to be friends with Robyn in particular.
During the first part of the postseason special, Kristen admits that she hasn’t had a “good relationship” with Merry or Robyn for “years”. On Sunday, Robyn was asked if she thought the couple could get to a “happy place,” a question that prompted her to unload everyone Women.
“It really depends on Kristen. I’m up for it, but it has to really be founded on real things and real trust and real desire,” Robyn said. I want something real. I want real relationships with all these ladies, they always have. always.”
she said, as she began to break into tears. “It feels really unfair. Sorry, I feel so embarrassed when I get emotional. I feel angry, I’m mad at all of them. I am.”
She continued, “I’m really angry about it, and I’m angry at what we’ve done to our family and I would never have chosen this if I had the power that everyone thinks I have, this wouldn’t have happened.” “I feel cheated. I feel totally cheated.”
Then she was asked if she also feels “scapegoated” in the marriage.
She responded, “All the time. I jokingly refer to myself as ‘Cody’s whipping boy. ‘” When he does something they don’t like, I get blamed. Maybe I’m an easy target because I tend to just accept it, not get upset about it, and not fight. It is not in my nature to fight. I’m heartier.”
Elsewhere in the session, Robyn also opened up about how things were “very difficult” between her and Christine when she first joined the family. She claimed “they were biting comments, not including me in things, letting me know how it was going, and sorting the ranks,” adding, “It was hard at first.”
All of the other women touch on the tensions between them throughout the entire episode, with Janelle saying that Robyn isn’t “that perfect saintly person” she’s sometimes seen to be on the show…or at least by Cody. She added, “I’m sorry, she’s human,” saying that she believes Cody is “a little short-sighted when it comes to Robyn’s huts and perspective.”
Meanwhile, Meri said she’s seen some of Robyn’s “unacceptability” from Kristen — but added, “I get that too.” [Christine]During those years, she longed for some attention and some love, which she never got.
Cody also claimed that Kristen had a history of “talking” between the three women, but she denied it was serious and claimed he did the same to her in return.
“He was complaining about the other wives, too,” she said, before adding, “Not Robyn, he would never complain about Robyn. I didn’t think I was being mean.”
