Chelsea opens her door and finds Billy sitting outside on the ground. She asks if he is fine. He says it’s fine. She urges him in, and asks, “What’s wrong? Is she a lily?” Billy grimaces. Chelsea asks what happened. Tears run down Billy’s cheek as she replies, “It’s over.”
At the park, Lily is alone when Daniel appears. He apologizes for startling her, and marvels at the beautiful and inspiring sight. He’s hoping to get the creative juices flowing again, and he’s thankful they haven’t converted the place into apartments yet. Lilly doesn’t respond, so he asks what’s going on. Daniel wonders if she wants to be left alone or would like company.
At Noah’s Club, he meets his father. Nick and Noah compare notes about being content with their lives, and Noah asks how serious things are with him and Sally.
On Sally’s ward, she and Chloe work out. Chloe shuts down the shop talk to ask how Sally is feeling. She doesn’t want to pay but the clock is ticking. “You need to start making some decisions.” Sally states that she is all set to show it to Jill tomorrow. Chloe tells her there’s a huge elephant in the room and she won’t let her ignore it for another second. “You need to start making decisions about your pregnancy.”
Sally refuses to discuss pregnancy but Chloe refuses to play this avoidance game. Sally wants to focus on the presentation that changes her life tomorrow. Chloe says pregnancy can change everything. She pulls out a bottle of prenatal vitamins and urges her boyfriend to start taking them.
At Chelsea’s house, Billy is not ready to talk about what happened. Sorry Chelsea, especially if it had anything to do with it. Billy confirms it’s 100% on him. Chelsea proposes a movie, but he’s just not ready for it. Chelsea feels it could use some escapism and pushes the snacks. She convinces him to watch the dumbest movie ever. They get ready and start the movie, making faces at each other and laughing at their stupidity. Billy soon laughs and eventually falls asleep.

Lily really doesn’t know what she deserves. “I deal with the consequences of my actions.” She chooses to date Billy and her partner with Devon…and fails. Daniel argues that she has tried to see the best in Billy, and says that she is a great businesswoman. It’s not her fault that other people can’t see the bigger and better picture. Lily wants to fix this but realizes she has no control over anything.
On Sally’s ward, she insists she doesn’t need prenatal vitamins. Chloe wonders if she doesn’t trust the home test, in which case she should make an appointment with a doctor. “It was already gone,” Sally exclaimed. “Okay! It was positive.” Chloe sighs, “Sally, this happens. You can’t avoid it.” Sally can’t face it now. Chloe knows it’s scary, but she doesn’t have to do it alone. Nick replies, “Same.” Noah is excited about his relationship with Allie, especially after Audra things. Nick remembers this kind of love. He and Sally aren’t in that place — at least not yet. It’s a Noah drink that has it all.
Noah asks Nick about love with Sally – not now or never? Nick knows he’s not a fan of seeing her, but they do enjoy each other’s company. They are happy and don’t feel the need to push it or define it too quickly. They won’t make it more complicated than necessary. Noah warns that things can change in the blink of an eye. Nick feels that he knows more about complicated relationships than his son and assures him that this is not the case.
On Sally’s ward, Chloe states that she and Nick are not in a serious relationship. Khloe believes that for two people who are not in a serious relationship, they definitely spend a lot of time together. Sally returns saying, “Trust me. Being pregnant is definitely not in the plan and the last thing I want is for Nick to feel like I’m trying to trap him in anything by posting this on him.” Chloe knows Nick and doesn’t think he would react that way. He loves being a father and knows that things happen sometimes. She is sure they can figure it out as a team. Sally says, “No. I’m not ready yet. I need more time.” Chloe tells her she doesn’t have time. “Pregnancy doesn’t work that way, and if you wait too long, they’ll tell the world for you.”

They’re the only two people there who are like, “So, please. Talk to me.”

That said, “what if” is still with him and he has nightmares every night about not doing and saying the right things. “She’s playing in slow motion,” he grimaces. Chelsea realizes that her actions have put him in a terrible position. “I hate that you had to witness that.” Billy no. The pain was the same whether it was there or not. The world is a better place with her in it. “You are a bright spot in my day now and I wouldn’t change that for anything.” Chelsea maintains that the world is much better with him, too.
