Cindy Crawford’s daughter Kaia Gerber She shared her thoughts on the controversy in Hollywood surrounding the “nepo baby” topic when she appeared on the cover of the February issue of Elle magazine.
The 21-year-old model and actress, who the 56-year-old model shares with husband Rande Gerber, 60, opened up about naming a “nebo baby,” a term recently coined as short for “nepotism babies,” during the accompanying cover interview for shoot.
“I’m not going to deny the privilege that I have,” Gerber told the outlet.
“Even if it is just the fact that I have an amazing source of information and someone who gives me great advice, that alone I feel very lucky for.

“Illiterate “If I could call and book a Chanel campaign, it would be for me, not for you,” Gerber quipped.
“But I also met amazing people through my mother who I work with now.”
Gerber began modeling at the age of 10 when she shot a campaign for Versace’s children’s and youth collection, Young Versace. When Gerber was 16, she made her New York Fashion Week debut, walking the Calvin Klein Spring 2018 collection in September 2017.
She walked the catwalks of major fashion houses, including Chanel, Marc Jacobs and Prada during the Spring 2018 Fashion Weeks in New York, London, Paris and Milan.
Gerber said she wouldn’t “deny the privilege” of a model’s daughter.

Crawford and Gerber walked together during Spring 2018 in Versace Fashion show in Milan. Over the past few years, Gerber has fronted campaigns for major brands and appeared on the covers of numerous magazines, including the coveted “Big Four” of Vogue, a feat she completed at the age of 18.
Gerber made her acting debut in the 2016 TV movie ‘Sister Cities’ and starred in ‘American Horror Stories’ and ‘American Horror Story: Double Feature’. the Born in California She told Elle that now acting is her “primary focus”. She explained that she also sees a difference in the influence of nepotism between the acting and modeling industries.

“With acting, it’s very different,” she said. “No artist would sacrifice their vision for someone’s child. That’s not just how art is made, and what I care about is art.
“Also, no one wants to work with someone who is annoying and not easy to work with and not nice. Yes, nepotism is prevalent, but I think if that’s really what people are made of, we’ll see more of it.”
The “American Horror Story” actress also shared the career advice Crawford gave her.

The 2018 Supermodel of the Year winner also shared some career advice her famous mom gave her.
“Be on time,” Gerber said. “Take the time to learn people’s names, and be nice to everyone. If you aren’t grateful and happy to be there, someone will be.”

“Even when I was really tired or wanted to go home or felt lonely, I would remind myself how lucky I was. Another thing you said was, ‘I wish I had written more,’ because you think you’re going to remember these wonderful moments.” Forever, and one day, it is hard even to know what the shooting was, and where it happened, and when. So I wrote it down; and I wrote it in my journal.”
During her interview with Elle, Gerber also reflected on growing up with A.J Fashion mom and the collective “aftershock” when Crawford walked into a room.
She said, “Yes, the sea is cutting.” “Especially when I started modeling, everyone would say, ‘Oh my God, your mom is so creative’ and I would say, ‘She’s my mom.’”
