Asia Rugby has published its full schedule for 2023 with over 22 international and regional events.
This year, Asia will host five major Sevens events, along with three legs of the World Rugby Sevens series.

The tournament was originally scheduled to be held in 2022, but was postponed due to political instability in Iran. The Rugby 7s event will feature 12 or 16 teams (ongoing discussion with the Organizing Committee), with all teams vying for the praise. The AFC Rugby schedule also includes seven and fifteen age team tournaments, including the AFC U20 Men’s and Women’s Rugby Championships in November, and the AFC U18 Boys’ and Girls’ Rugby Championships in September.
Finally, the prestigious HSBC 7S World Premier League World Rugby Championship, showcasing the talents of the world’s best sevens teams and athletes, will stage three tournaments in Asia – Dubai 7sthe Hong Kong 7s and the Singapore 7s.
The 2023 World Rugby Sevens Challenger Series will see two men’s and women’s combined three-day events taking place at Markotter Stadium in Stellenbosch, South Africa on 20-22 and 28-30 April 2023.
